Mr. John Wojcik

Mr. John Wojcik, 75, a proud Vietnam Veteran, of Pittsfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Born in Adams, MA, on February 1, 1950, son of the late Henry and Caroline Wojcik, he attended Notre Dame school and graduated from Adams High with the class of 1967. John proudly served his country in the US Army SP5 in the 4th Medical Battalion, a unit that provided medical support to the 4th Infantry Division from March 1968 to October 1970 and was a Bronze Star Recipient. Following his service, John spent the majority of his career as the manager of Raynor’s Auto Supply (NAPA). John is now reunited with the love of his life and wife of 40 years, Patricia Wojcik, whom he married on November 17, 1984, who passed on February 27, 2025. He leaves behind his daughters, Amy Kingston (Rob) and Melissa Letalien, as well as his grandchildren, Evan (Danielle) Skubel, Victoria Skubel, Mariah and Owen Letalien, and his great grandchildren, Emily and Braden Skubel, all of whom he adored and made sure were spoiled. John is also survived by his sister Linda (Fred) Munsinger, as well as many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Wallace, Henry and David Wojcik and sisters Mary Cole and Shirley Therrien. Though John will be sorely missed by all of those who were blessed to have known him, he will always be remembered for his sense of humor, loving smile and his love of partying with family and friends while listening to oldies music. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mr. John Wojcik will be Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 12 noon at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield MA, with the Rev. John Salatino officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4 to 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to Soldier On, in care of the funeral home, in his memory.
