Jordan Elizabeth LaBarre

Jordan Elizabeth LaBarre, 32 of Breckenridge Colorado, born February 16, 1993, the loving daughter to Joann and Timothy J. Shugrue of Pittsfield, MA was tragically taken from us on July 7, 2025. Jordan attended Saint Patrick’s School in Chicopee, until moving to the Berkshires with her mom and brother. After moving to the Berkshires her family grew to include her step father Timothy J. Shugrue, and step sister Caitlin Shugrue. Jordan graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Pittsfield in 2011 and went on to graduate from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelors Degree in 2015. Jordan wanted to travel and decided to move to Breckenridge Colorado after college graduation, where she has lived for the past 10 years. She loved everything about the outdoors, hiking, camping, paddle boarding and especially snow boarding. But her real joy in Colorado came from her Breckenridge Family and her beloved dog Lincoln, her constant and loyal companion. While at St. Joseph’s High School, Jordan played golf, softball and basketball. She continued her love of sports in Colorado, playing pick up hockey and volleyball. Jordan was especially proud of hiking 14ners (IYKYK) and trained for back country mountain activities. Jordan loved attending professional sporting events, and was a loyal fan of all Boston sports teams. Jordan was especially close with her mom, Joann, and the two shared a very special unbreakable bond. She was very close with her brother Joshua LaBarre, step father Timothy J. Shugrue and stepsister Caitlin Shugrue, and shared so many loving, fun and wicked funny memories of family. In Breckenridge she worked at Ollie’s and Jess’ Cleaning Service. Jordan was predeceased by her father Kenneth E. LaBarre in 2010. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday July 17th from 4-7 pm at St. Mark’s Church, 400 West Street, Pittsfield, MA, presented by Dwyer’s Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield MA. The celebration of Jordan will continue on Friday July 18th, with a liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mark’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Pecks Road, Pittsfield, MA.
