Mrs. Regina "Gina" Bailot

Regina “Gina” N. Bailot, 63, of Pittsfield passed away after a courageous 2 year battle with Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer) on November 30, 2024, with her beloved husband and daughter by her side. Gina was born in Pittsfield, MA on May 4, 1961 to the late Evelyn O’Rourke. She grew up in Pittsfield and attended local schools. In January of 1977, she attended a Boys Club dance, where she met the love of her life, Kevin. They shared 47 years together, celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary earlier this year. Gina was employed at Price Chopper/Market 32, devoting 44 years, retiring in June 2022. Gina enjoyed cruising with her husband to the Caribbean, as well as camping, her yearly trips to Cape Cod with family and family picnics. She enjoyed babysitting her niece and great-nephews when they were younger and following the New York Yankees with her brother John. She also enjoyed Girls Getaway Weekends over the last 20 years with Dayle, Gayle, Nancy, Marsha, and Kathy. Gina is survived by her husband Kevin, daughter Jackie and her husband Greg Recchino. She is also survived by her sisters Ginni (Gary) Cuenin, Theresa (Anthony) Errichetto, and brother John (Rotjana) Anello; her brother-in-law David (Linda) Bailot and sister-in-law Deborah (John) McBride, six nieces and four nephews; her sidekick and granddog Harper. Gina is predeceased by her mother Evelyn O’Rourke, stepfather Thomas O’Rourke, and her in-laws Louis and Mary Bailot. She will be missed by many, especially her best friend Dayle Lic. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Regina “Gina” N. Bailot will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 12 noon at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield MA 01201. Calling hours at the funeral home will be directly prior to the service, from 10am to 12noon. Burial will be at a later date.
