Mr. Timothy P. Vallee

Mr. Timothy P. Vallee, of Old Chatham, NY, passed away on December 20, 2021, just months after celebrating his 59th birthday. Born on October 11, 1962, the son of the late John and Grace (Saxby) Vallee. He graduated from Lansingburgh High School and later earned degrees from Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY. For the majority of his career, Tim worked as a Labor Relations Specialist for Civil Service Employees Association, Inc.. Tim retired in 2016 after working at CSEA for 34 years. Tim enjoyed retirement and loved spending time at the ocean. His favorite hobbies were aerobics, swimming, rafting, and enjoying sunsets. He especially loved going to Florida, sunning by the pool with cocktails and visiting with friends . Tim was the life of the party. His laugh was contagious and his smile was sure to make anyone smile. Though Tim will be sorely missed, his memory will live on through all of those who were blessed to have known him. Tim loved his family and Tim loved his friends. Tim loved life. Tim is survived by his beloved husband, Kevin Kennedy, who were together for 27 years and recently married. He leaves behind his siblings Diane (Vallee) Miller, Eileen (Vallee) Peltier, Laurie (Vallee) Fumarola, Daniel Vallee, Kim (Vallee) and David Johnson, and Melissa (Vallee) and Dave Miles. He also leaves behind sister in-laws Karen Kennedy, Barbara Kennedy, Lynn (Kennedy) Bates and Stephen, and Lisa Kennedy. Tim also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews and cousins and two very special Aunts, Maureen Saxby and Carol Lopez. He also leaves his 3 best friends Lorraine Hickey, Bonita Loyche, and Carmela McHugh. Tim was predeceased by his sister, Susan Vallee Miller. Funeral Notice: Funeral Services for Tim will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, 191 Elm Street, Pittsfield MA., 01201, celebrated by the Rev George Fleming, Pastor at Round Lake and con-celebrated by Rev Gary P. Gelfanbein, Pastor Emeritus. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Pittsfield, MA. Calling hours will be Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Donations in Tim’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
