Ms. Frances Y. Mangiardi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ms. Frances Y. Mangiardi, of Stephentown, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, just one month after celebrating her 83rd birthday. Born in Pittsfield, MA, on June 22, 1939, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth Chichetto Mangiardi, she graduated from Pittsfield High School with the class of 1957. Frances was employed by New England Telephone Company, where she worked as the office manager. It was there she dedicated 39 years until her retirement. Among many things, she enjoyed day trips to the casino, and watching the baseball games, especially when the Red Sox or Mets were playing! Frances is survived by her niece, Margaret Borden, with whom she made her home for the last 16 years, as well as her brother, Nicholas Mangiardi, Jr.. Frances also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Theresa F. Borden, Joseph Mangiardi, Sr., Richard Mangiardi, Ralph Mangiardi, and Angelina Murphy. Funeral Notice: A graveside service for Ms. Frances Y Mangiardi will be Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:30 pm at St. Joseph Cemetery. At her request, there will be no formal calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances’ memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
