George “Buzzy” F. Norton, Jr., 68, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Buzzy was predeceased by his mother, Claire Marcel Pignone, his stepfather Anthony R Pignone, and his father George F Norton Sr.. He leaves behind his life companion, his three children and his grandchildren, as well as many siblings, family members and friends. While Buzzy will be sorely missed, he will always be remembered by all of those who loved him dearly. Funeral Notice: A private burial with George’s family will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery. At his request, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Buzzy’s memory can be made to Mighty Milo Adventures, where all proceeds will go toward helping his great grandson and others alike who have HIDEA Syndrome.
