Mr. Jeffrey W. Arndt

July 17, 1956 - January 31, 2022

Mr. Jeffrey W. Arndt, 65, of Titusville FL, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. Jeffrey was born to Alfred and Joan (Campbell) Arndt on July 17, 1956, in Pittsfield Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School’s class of 1974. While at Wahconah Jeffrey acted as assistant coach for several sports teams. He went on to earn an associate and bachelor’s degree at Brevard Community College, and Rollins College respectively. Jeffrey worked as an accountant and bought and sold commercial real estate. He was a substitute teacher at Brevard County Public Schools. He was a man who "loved God, and enjoyed making people laugh", as is inscribed on his gravestone. He was a founding member of St. Andrews Chapel in Florida. He also worshiped at Trinity Community Church and Crosswalk Community Church. Service to the community was a cornerstone in Jeffrey's life. He was a Sunday school coordinator for many years. He was committed to regularly giving blood and donating hair to Locks of Love. During the pandemic he would wait in line for several hours at food pantries to collect supplies for those in need. These are just a few of countless examples to express Jeffrey's lifelong devotion to generous acts of service and kindness. He had several interests and was an avid coin collector. He had a passion for studying the health sciences. Spending time with and teaching children brought so much joy to his life. He had a heart for animals and loved a good barbecue with friends and family. Jeffrey was interested and active in the lives of those close to him. His presence since his passing has been sadly missed. He is survived by his sister, Audrey Tiska and her husband Stanley of Hinsdale, MA, as well as his brother, Corey Arndt of Waveland, MS, his nephew Joshua Tyskanella and his wife Claire, his niece Naomi Tiska and her husband Steve, and his niece Rachel Tiska. He was preceded by his parents and grandmother, Elizabeth Arndt. Jeffrey was a great-uncle to grandnieces, Aurorah, Azaliah, and Ingrid. (In his words, “Emphasis on the Great!"). He had many cousins, extended family and friends that were like family, who he loved dearly. Funeral Notice: All are welcome to join a graveside Funeral service for Mr. Jeffrey W. Arndt on Saturday, May 21st at 11:00am at the Hinsdale Cemetery (Maple Street Cemetery).
