Judith A. Douglas-Bradley, 83, of Pittsfield, passed away on October 5, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Pittsfield, MA on November 25, 1937, the daughter of Harrison M and Marion S. Chapel Douglas, she graduated in 1955 from Pittsfield High School. Judith worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co after graduating high school. She became a homemaker after her first child was born and then became the co-owner of Little Giant Foods, where the customers referred to her as "Mrs. Fred" after her 4th child. She retired from Central Tractor where she worked for any years as head cashier and was the best they had. Judith was very artistic, from knitting crocheting and sewing to drawing her own birthday and holiday cards and canning produce from the family garden. She loved to cook big family dinners and Holiday buffets. She also had an extended family with the Dalton American Legion Riders, the Berkshire Shriners and Daughters of the Nile. She loved motorcycle runs with her husband Mike. The Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots were her teams of choice and she watched them avidly with her husband. However, above all else her family was her center. Judith is survived by her husband Walter "Mike" Bradley whom she married on April 28, 1995. Her children Christin Pivero (Jim), Heather Dascani (Michael) F. Douglas Fuhlbrigge (Jill Cozzaglio), Bonus Children Walter L. Bradley Jr., Craig "Tony" Bradley, David Bradley, Daniel Bradley, Elizabeth Bradley and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Dawn Fuhlbridge Prentice who passed away in June 2011. FUNERAL NOTICE- A memorial service for Mrs. Judith A. Douglas-Bradley will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11AM, with Rev. William Furey, officiating at the Unity Terrace at DWYER-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-6PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Main Street Cemetery in Dalton. Following the burial a Celebration of Life will be held at the Dalton American Legion 258 North St., Dalton, MA 01226.
