Mrs. Marilyn C. Harte, 88, formerly of Lee, MA, passed away at her home New York on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pittsfield, MA, on April 20, 1932, the daughter of the late Leonard and Bella Vienneau LeBlanc, she graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1950 and later earned her bachelor’s degree. Marilyn was a physical therapist assistant. She worked for many agencies in Berkshire County, as well as in Florida, when she moved there in 1989. Among many things, she enjoyed gardening, crafts, and going to both estate and garage sales with her sister, Rosemary. She loved going to concerts, ushering at the theatre, and going camping. Marilyn was a dedicated member of the Irish Sister City Committee in Pittsfield. Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband of nearly 67 years, James Harte, whom she married on June 27, 1953. James passed away just shy of one year ago, in February of 2020. Marilyn is survived by her children, Kimberlee Anne Baccoli (Fran), James Michael Harte (Elizabeth), and Jeffrey Leonard Harte (Wendy). She leaves behind her grandchildren, Chantal and Nicole Baccoli, James “Jake” Harte (Shelby), and Nathaniel Reilly, as well as her great grandson, Jayce. Marilyn also leaves behind her sister, Anne LeBlanc McConnell and brother, Robert LeBlanc. Besides her husband, Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, and her siblings, Leonard LeBlanc (Mary), Paul LeBlanc, and Rosemary D’Alessandro. She was also predeceased by her nephews, Daniel and Shawn McConnell, Heath Peter Thompson, and Lorin and Mark Hubley, as well as many dear cousins, aunts, and uncles. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn C. Harte will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church, celebrated by the Rev. A.
