Ms. Carol A. Robinson

Ms. Carol A. Robinson, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, just months before celebrating her 88th birthday. Born in Pittsfield, MA on June 29, 1936, daughter of the late Walter and Frances Hall O’Neil, she graduated from St. Joseph C.C. High School with the class of 1954. Carol was employed by Berkshire Medical Center holding many different positions from 1975 until retiring as a pharmacy technician in 2016. Throughout the years she enjoyed attending activities for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed vacations to Cape Cod, weekly luncheons with her friends, and traveling to Ireland and Italy. She was an avid reader of books and newspapers and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Family and friends brought as much joy into her life as she did to theirs. Carol’s heart of gold, acts of kindness, and giving nature touched all those she came in contact with. Throughout many years she supported all of the school fundraisers, Create a Dream Christmas program at BMC, and Charitable events. Just to mention a few of the numerous nonprofit organizations that she supported were the Veterans, police, and Shriners. Carol is survived by her children, Kevin P. Robinson (Laurie), and Kerry P. Robinson (Candace), their father and her former husband, Patrick A. Robinson, Jr. of Deerfield Beach Florida. Her grandchildren, whom she adored: Kellie Robinson, Kevin Robinson and his long time companion Amanda Morton, Sean Robinson and significant other Kelly and her son Liam, Taylor Robinson and her significant other Bobbie, Mackenzie Robinson, Kimberly, Kristen Bilotta. Her great-grandchildren Cheyanna, Kaden Buffoni, Carter, Karolyena Kimber, Silas Robinson, Aryonah Buffoni, Johonah China, Ellyonah, Mia Kimber, Neveah Shaw, Zachary, Kristina, Nicholas Geranios, Joseph Bilotta, Joseph, Melissa, Anthony, Gia Brzozowski, and great-great grandson Maxson Geranios, as well as her sister, Judy Scago, nephews Ryan Scago, Frank Scago (Jessica) and their son Trey, Jay, Christopher Marcinczyk, great nieces Trenna and Lina, cousins and life time friends. Carol was predeceased by her parents, daughters Cathy A. Robinson, Kim A. Bilotta, Son in law Joseph Bilotta, Sister Maryjane Marcinczyk, Niece Cynthia Marcinczyk, Brother in law Frank Scago Jr., Grandson Kevin Bilotta, Former in laws Patrick and Madlyn Robinson. Her former longtime companion and special friend Danny Thorton. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Ms. Carol A. Robinson will be Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 6pm at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Calling hours at the funeral home will be directly prior to the service, from 4pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory can be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or a charity of your choice, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
