Mrs. Christine Corseri Fosser

Mrs. Christine Corseri Fosser, 75, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Born in Pittsfield, MA, on May 27, 1950, daughter of the late Richard and Helen Fletcher Corseri, she graduated from Pittsfield High School with the class of 1968 and later from Springfield Hospital Medical School with her associates degree in Radiological Technology. For the majority of her career, Christine worked as an x-ray technologist. She was employed by various hospitals throughout Massachusetts before settling, in 1978, at Berkshire Medical Center, where she would dedicate 37 years of service. Christine valued her career in Radiology and the strong friendships she built along the way. She shared a special bond with her colleagues, where her support, camaraderie, and kindness left a lasting impact. These friendships meant a great deal to her and, even after retirement, remained an important part of her life. Among many things, Christine loved music. She was a devoted fan of the Beatles, whose songs always brought her happiness. She also proudly supported the Boston Red Sox, cheering them on with both loyalty and passion. Christine will lovingly be remembered for her adventurous spirit and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. She had a passion for travel that carried her to warm, tropical beaches. Whether enjoying the excitement of the casinos or relaxing by the ocean, Chrstine embraced every adventure wholeheartedly. Christine is survived by her beloved husband, Gordon Fosser, with whom she shared her life for nearly 45 years. She leaves behind her children, Carol Fosser, Aaron Fosser, Amy Fosser (Frank Love), and Nicole Fosser (Adam Walsh). Christine is also survived by her grandchildren, Erica Courtney, Althea Fosser, Keagan Fosser, Kaylee Fosser, Grace Fosser, Frankie Fosser, Kendall Martin, Greta Love, and Lucie Walsh, as well as her great grandson, Westyn Courtney, all of whom she adored. She leaves behind her sister, Debra Cobb (Steven), brother-in-law John Fosser (Carla), niece Melissa Cobb, great nephew Eddie, as well as many life-long friends, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Besides her parents Richard and Helen Fletcher Corseri, she was predeceased by her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Philip and Agnes Fosser, Sister-in-law Fay Fosser. Christine’s warmth, interests, and zest for life left a lasting impression on all of those who were blessed to have known her. Though she will be sorely missed, her memory will always be with us. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Christine will be Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 1pm at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours at the funeral home will be directly prior to the service, from 11am to 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Phelps Cancer Center or HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
